Kølemiddellækagedetektor RLD4

The Elma RLD4 is a handy leak detector designed for detecting refrigerant leaks (HFC, HCFC, and CFC). The instrument is equipped with an ultra-sensitive sensor which, for example with R-134a/R22, can detect leaks as small as 3 grams per year. The instrument is capable of detecting all CFC refrigerants.

The sensor head is mounted on a long, flexible probe, allowing searching and testing in all corners and hard-to-reach areas. The instrument is suitable for refrigeration, air conditioning, climate control, and heat pump systems, both during manufacturing and servicing.

With the Elma RLD4, the sensor sensitivity can be adjusted in three levels, which is practical when searching for leaks of varying sizes. When the presence of a refrigerant is detected, this is indicated by both an audible and a visual alarm, with intensity increasing according to the measured concentration.

The Elma RLD4 also features a built-in reset function, both manual and automatic, allowing the sensor to ignore any existing background concentration of refrigerant and only trigger an alarm when concentrations higher than the reset level are detected.

The Elma RLD4 is supplied complete in a practical protective carrying case with test gas, including operating instructions and batteries.
