Elma 6660 Process Multimeter

A process multimeter is an indispensable tool for the industrial electrician or technician working with control and instrumentation, as it combines the common measurement functions of a multimeter with the process calibrator's capabilities to simulate signals and act as a source in passive circuits.

Elma 6660 is an advanced process multimeter in a robust and ergonomic design with a wealth of features, high accuracy, a backlit display, and a built-in flashlight.

The measurement functions include TRMS AC voltage and AC voltage with VFC filter for precise measurement on noisy circuits and circuits with variable voltage, DC voltage, resistance/continuity, diode test, capacitance, frequency, AC/DC current in mA, and temperature with thermocouple (e.g., type K) and RTD (e.g., PT100).

Elma 6660 can simulate signals in both active and passive circuits. In both cases, the 4-20 mA output signal can be set in increments of 25% and the current can be fine-tuned down to 0.001 mA; the step and ramp functions allow for automatic stepwise or smooth regulation of the output current. Passive circuits can be supplied 1-10 VDC, a frequency signal, resistance value, and thermocouple as well as RTD temperature signal with Elma 6660 as the source. Elma 6660 also has Loop power and 250 Ω HART function.

Elma 6660 is delivered ready to use in a pouch, including test leads with test probes, mini alligator clips, batteries, and manual.
