Elma RCDtest - mini RCD tester
Elma RCDtest is a new small and handy instrument for testing RCDs. The clever 2-pole voltage tester design means, that “the third hand” is not necessary for operation. The result is displayed on a high luminous OLED color display, which makes the instrument ideal both in daylight and in darkness. The instrument contains a built-in flashlight, making measurements in dark environments even easier. The instrument tests if RCD trips on the right current and time. The available types of RDCs are A, AC and selective at 0/180 °, x½, x1, x2 and x5, displaying the response time and using the ramp function also displays the actual tripping current. In addition the Elma RCD test measures loop impedance, voltage and touch voltage. Elma RCDtest is IP 43 and is supplied with test leads, bag and instruction manual. Meets IEC 61010-1 Cat III 300V.

In this section you’ll find multifunction installations testers to test, comply and document according to EN/IEC 61557, demanding a range of tests of low voltage installations.


A few important functions to mention is insulations test, earth resistance, RCD test, continuity test with 200mA,loop/line impedance and short circuit current. Some of the instrument even have test of type B RCD and build in fuse characteristics for I2t calculations, break times etc.


All instruments have large displays, to get an easy overview of all values, and some even color touch screen, for fast and easy settings. If an instrument with software is chosen, documentation of measurements will be handled extremely fast and easy.
