Elma smoke pen – fast and easy test of airflow

The Elma smoke pen is small and fast to use, when you need to see the airflow. The smoke pen is ideal for many applications e.g. ventilation, exhaust, smoke alarms, draft, leaks etc. The principle of the smoke pen is simply to light a special wick and blow out the flame. The wick now emits smoke for about half an hour. When the test is finished, the glow tip can simply be extinguished, making one wick last for many tests. The smoke contains no hazardous or corrosive substances and is environmental friendly. The smoke pen is delivered ready to use incl. smoke wicks, protective lid and manual. Extra wicks are available in the tab “Accessories”.

Elma VoltStick® Switch6 is a non-contact voltage tester that indicates AC voltage from 12 to 1000V in two ranges: high sensitivity from 12–1000V or normal from 230–1000V.

Voltage (phase) is indicated acoustically (optional), with a strong red light at the tip, and with powerful vibration for added safety.

Elma Laser x2, green cross laser for increased visibility

The brand new Elma Laser x2 line- and X laser is equipped with the latest technology, using green laser light, for enhanced visibility. The human eye is about 4 times more responsive to green light, than classic red, increasing the visible range remarkable, both in- and out doors. Elma Laser x2 provides perfect markings even in long range, eliminating the need to draw on the floor, walls and ceilings. This makes the task of installing shelfs, paintings, kitchen tables etc. fast, easy and straightforward.

Elma Laser x2 is indicating horizontal, vertical or both, in an angle of nearly 180˚, for perfect leveling, even right above the instrument. Fast and easy, and you have both hands free to work. Just place the laser and turn it on, it's as simple as that.

Forget about time consuming, accurate leveling of the instrument. Elma Laser x2 is self leveling, and if the deviation is too big, the laser will indicate by fast blinking, making operating error impossible. Besides horizontal and vertical lines, you are able to make straight lines in sloping angles, useful e.g. for stairways etc. Lock the Elma Laser x2 to deactivate the self leveling mechanism, and set the angle, simply by placing on standard tripod or on the supplied magnetic adapter. When the leveling is locked, the instrument will indicate, by blinking every 3 second, to prevent mistakes. As additional safety against errors, Elma Laser x2 can't be turned off, when the lock is deactivated, securing the pendulum suspension against transport damage.

Elma 5100 FuseFinder fuse locator

Elma 5100 FuseFinder cable and fuse locator finds the correct fuse in the distribution board or identifies a cable in a bundle.

The transmitter is battery-free and is powered directly from the socket it is connected to. Insert the transmitter into, for example, a socket using the supplied Schuko or Danish EDP plug and follow the cable with the receiver, or locate the fuse in the distribution board supplying the socket. Operates on live 230 V sockets and installations (90…250 V). Searching is made easy with both a clear visual (LED) and audible signal.

Elma DT125 Moisture Meter for building materials

Elma DT125 is an instrument with penetration electrodes for moisture measurement in building materials, primarely soft materiels, such as wood, gypsum etc. In the manual more than 100 different types of wood, and almost 20 different building materials are diveded into gruops, which can be selected under configuration of the instrument. The instrument gives the result in the unit "mass-%", and is in relation to the dry mass of the material. Besides this the instrument measures the relative air humidity, and thus of course the air temperature.

Elma 611B – Infrared thermometer -50°C to 1000°C

Elma DT128M non destructive moist meter

Elma DT128M provides a very fast way to non destructive measurement of moist in building materials and moist distribution in e.g. walls, ceilings and floors. The instrument injects a high frequency signal in the material and measures in a depht of 20-40mm in the material. Elma 6100EVSE multimeter with BT and CP EVSE readout

Elma 6100EVSE is a solid true RMS AC/DC mini multimeter with Bluetooth function. The instrument measures current, voltage, frequency, capacity, resistance, and continuity. In addition, the instrument is equipped with a special area for external current clamp. It can measure up to 3000A with flex clamp (ElmaFlex 430).

The unique EVSE function in the Elma 6100EVSE also converts the CP signal from the EVSE charging socket for electric cars directly into an ampere value. If it is used e.g. with the Elma EVSE-200 (available as an accessory on this page), the CP DutyCycle signal from the charger can be read directly as amperes, instead of the classic Hz% signal. Elma BM037 is a small and handy clampmeter designed for measuring True RMS AC and DC currents. Using this handy clamp multimeter, it is possible to measure currents as high as 600A. The multimeter function offers measurement of voltage, current, capacity, resistance and continuity. Besides the clamps function, the instrument is also measuring 0-2000 micro amperes on the sockets. Elma DT802D, CO2/Relative humidity/temperature monitor measures the air quality indoor, displaying the measured values in the display. Elma 6501 cable length meter

Extremely simple operation when using the milliohm principle. Simple rotary switch for selection of standard cable dimensions from 0.15 to 240 square and push button for selection of aluminum or copper. In addition, 8 user-definable cable types. The Kelvin measuring principle automatically calibrates the resistance of the test leads and clamps, which, together with temperature compensation, ensures accurate results.

Elma 6501 is both a cable length meter and miliohmmeter, with a resolution down to 100µΩ, and can therefore also be used for measuring small resistances.

Measurement of cable lengths based on resistance, in contrast to cable length meters based on TDR reflectometer technology, does not depend on known NVP value (signal speed), which can often be unknown on installation cables. Just set the rotary switch to the cable dimension, join/short two conductors and connect clamps to the de-energized cable and read the result. The length is simply calculated on the basis of the measured resistance, which is predefined for standard cable dimensions. No complicated settings, just a simple reading.

Elma EVSE-100 Type 2 Adapter

Elma EVSE-100 Type 2 Adapter activates the charging socket by simulating the connection of an electric vehicle, and brings all electrical measurement points out to standard banana sockets.

Communication between the EVSE-100 and the charging socket is carried out with a slider that allows the simulation of CP stages as well as errors.

The charging socket (EVSE) and the electric vehicle (EV) communicate via a frequency modulated signal. The Elma EVSE-100 requests a charging current of 20 A, but the charging socket may allow a different charging current, which is expressed in the PP signal, and can be read with a standard multimeter with DutyCycle Hz% function, or with the groundbreaking Elma 6100EVSE, which directly displays the signal as a current.

If Elma EVSE-100 is used together with an installation tester, it is possible to carry out a complete final check of the EVSE installation, including testing of residual current protection, phase sequence, and continuity of the protective conductor.

Elma EVSE-100 is delivered ready to use and can be used with installation testers from Elma Instruments.

Elma BM789 is a slim multimeter with a high bandwidth of 100kHz and true RMS measurements. Auto Check is an intelligent function that automatically detects and selects AC voltage, DC voltage and throughput test / resistance. All you have do is turn on the instrument and measure. Low Z is voltage measurement with low impedance, meaning that the measuring point is loaded and thus it is ensured that the real voltage is measured, and any induced voltage is discharged. In addition, the Elma BM789 has advanced VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) function, which means that it can measure accurate voltage according to e.g., frequency converters.

Forget about time-consuming, precise setup of the instrument. Elma Laser x360 is self-leveling, and if the deviation is too large for self-leveling, the laser flashes strongly to avoid errors. In addition to horizontal and vertical 360˚ lines, you can also make straight lines at oblique angles - this is useful e.g. when measuring stairs and railings. With a lock function, the self-leveling is deactivated and the oblique angle is easily set, e.g. by placing the instrument on a standard camera tripod or the supplied magnetic angle adapter. In this set with tripod and tilt-head all is included, ready to work. When the instrument is locked, it indicates with a short flash approximately every 3 seconds, so you do not mistakenly think that lines are plumb. As extra security, the Elma Laser x360 cannot be switched off when the transport lock is disengaged, this prevents the suspension against transport damage, which is the most common fault on line lasers - everything is thought of here.

Elma 6620 Process Multimeter

A process multimeter is an indispensable tool for the electrician or technician working with control and instrumentation, as it combines the common measurement functions of a multimeter with the process calibrator's capabilities to simulate signals and act as a source in passive circuits.

Elma 6620 is a simple process multimeter in a robust and ergonomic design with a backlit display and built-in flashlight.

The measurement functions include true RMS AC voltage and AC voltage with VFC filter for precise measurement on noisy circuits and circuits with variable voltage, DC voltage, resistance/continuity, diode test, frequency, and AC/DC current in mA.

Elma 46 – LAN network tester

Elma 46 is a easy and very econimical instrument for fast failure finding on LAN and Coax installations. Elma 6100EVSE is a solid true RMS AC/DC mini multimeter with a Bluetooth function. The instrument measures current, voltage, frequency, capacity, resistance, and continuity. Elma 6100EVSE has a large, illuminated display and is equipped with a powerful LED flashlight, data hold max/min and auto power off. The instrument meets EN61010-1 CAT III 600 V standards and is supplied with test leads, batteries, and a manual.

The Elma EVSE-200 adapter activates the charging station by simulating the connection of an electric car, and brings measurement points out into standard banana sockets. This way a simple function test whether stand can be activated is done with adapter alone, voltages can be measured with standard multimeter or full function test and installation test is done with a suitable installation tester.

Elma EVSE-200 also has several smart functions.
CP signal in banana sockets. An EVSE charger and electric car EV communicate via a frequency-modulated signal. Then the car (Elma EVSE-200) asks for e.g., about 32A, the charging plug may respond that 13A is available. This signal can be read with a standard multimeter with DutyCycle Hz% function, or with the ground-breaking Elma 6100EVSE, which directly displays the signal as a current. Elma EVSE-200 can also be connected to a load, e.g., a heating fan, up to 10A, directly into the socket on the adapter. This way, the charging plug can be tested under load, and connections can be checked with an infrared camera.

Elma EVSE-200 can also do fault simulation for missing PE connection and CP to PE fault. Thus, the adapter can only be used to check correct connection and functionality in the event of a fault.

The adapter is supplied with a standard type 2 plug and simple rotary switches for simulating both PP (load) and CP (Connection status) both vented (ABD) and non-vented (ABC) status. Delivered ready for use in a bag and can be advantageously used with installation testers from Elma instruments.

ELMA 1352C - Lyd- & støjmåler med indbygget datalogger

Elma 1352C is a sound and noise instrument with a build-in datalogger. It can store up to 32.000 measurements. The instrument is built to comply with IEC 61672-1 class 2 for sound meters. The instrument has many features; lightning display with analog bargraph, min/max hold, automatic/manual range selection, analog AC/DC output, calibration control, C-A filter, watch, fast/slow measurement, and options for external voltage supply.

It is easy to programme Elma 1352C via a PC. Once the instrument is programmed you can measure several different objects without being connected to a PC. When the measurements are finished, connect the instrument to a PC and the software will display the measured/collected values on the PC display, as a digital display, analog instrument, XY-graph or a list showing the time. It is also possible to save the results in a file for further analysis in a spreadsheet.

Elma Paint Check ® is the ideal thickness gauge to measure coatings, such as paint and varnish. Elma RCDtest is a new small and handy instrument for testing RCDs. The clever 2-pole voltage tester design means, that “the third hand” is not necessary for operation. The result is displayed on a high luminous OLED color display, which makes the instrument ideal both in daylight and in darkness. Elma Easy flex SPECIAL KIT - strong case and headset 641

Elma Easy Flex is an innovative instrument that is used to find leaks in all pressure equipment such as compressed air, steam and gas installations as well as pneumatic systems.

Elma Easy Flex detects sound in a frequency range around 40 kHz, this range is not audible to humans. Leaking compressed air and electrical flashes (sparks) produce e.g. ultrasound at this level. The microphone's capture of the ultrasound is converted in the instrument into an audible sound image in the supplied standard headphones, this sound image is proportional to the size of the leak and depends on the distance to it.

The operation of the instrument is very simple. You can quickly and efficiently find and repair leaks, with great savings as a result. If the ambient noise is very high, it is advantageous to use a hearing protector with built-in headphones (optional equipment), as these reduce the impact of the ears from outside noise.

The Elma iTest 7400 is equipped with functions for initial verification, periodic inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical installations:

Continuity test with 200 mA for verification of the protective conductor's continuous connection and/or potential bonding, as well as a simple continuity test/beep test with low test current.
Insulation resistance test at predefined test voltages from 50 V to 1000 V and adjustable threshold value.
Measurement of line impedance and voltage drop. Built-in fuse tables with thresholds make it easy to determine if the installation is safe.
Measurement of fault loop impedance taking into account the type of residual current protection for easy verification and without tripping the RCD.
RCD testing of all common types of residual current devices – also EVSE 6 mA DC. Separate test functions for trip time, current ramp test, and auto-test.
Voltage, frequency, and phase sequence measurement.
